Kapa and Boku

Kapa and Boku always existed,untill..


Only i know...

Being the only child one may say i have had a lonesome childhood...
on the other hand, i did not..

I have always been lucky about friends. I make friends very fast.Thus i was never alone on playgrounds outside home.

At home...
when ma slept in the afternoons, when it was raining and i couldnt go outside, when i have had a fight and was being boycotted by the rest of the kids, and when i was grounded for not listening to ma...

Kapa and Boku came to play.

One could say i was lucky with friends in my imagination too.

I have no memory of how i came up with those weird names. These two girls existed nowhere.they were made of pure imagination and my need to find company when others were busy.
Kapa and Boku only came when i needed playmates, rest of the times they were just nothing.

Playing at home, i would take 3 turns at everything
skipping a rope, if i lost breath at a count of 20, kapa and boku would try to skip some more to beat me.
taking turns...again the numbers would rise.

the girls had distinct habits too. Boku always wore slippers whjile playing her turn. Kapa tried to cheat more while throwing stones into the right box.
we talked, we fought, we played
they paid their visits even when i was upset when johnny's robot died. i wasnt ready to play and sent them back.

from what i remember their interests with me was purely playful.we only played together, when i was supposed to keep myself busy alone.

Kapa and Boku existed until we moved from G-194 to a smaller 'barsati'. i am not sure if something happened, they would not come easily, their visits were less frequent, playing with them became less interesting than my mother's dressing table.
it was more fun than playing 3 stupid turns for every stupid game.

i guess i was growing up
